London Fashion Week: Make Your Mark

The dilemma for those who want to see ethical change in the fashion industry is how to encourage the new generation of designers to get interested. “Make Your Mark” is one solution that is showing some fabulous results. It was a national competition that allowed young designers to be mentored by top sustainable fashion labels. For six months each of the winning designers was taught the tricks of the trade by a label of their choice.

  3. great idea. someone else already said this above but the fashion industry really is seen as elitist from the outside and the younger generation aspiring designers dont think they can do it before they even try.

  4. just a quick question: why are all models coming out like paper thin among all these fashion shows? real woman were not as skinny as that. we want to see those dresses being worn by real women and how they’ll look like. these skinny models were like walking mannequins that makes the dress ‘look good’…
